How Fast can you Ship?
Standard Barstock Items ship within 1-2 days from stock unless otherwise quoted
Standard finished sleeve bearings, flanged bearings and thrust bearings ship within 1-2 days
Made to Order custom alloys & sizes typically ship within 3-4 weeks from order receipt
Custom Machine Parts finished to your drawings typically ship in 5 weeks
What are Material Tolerances?
Wrought Copper Alloy Bar & Plate (100 through 700 series of WROUGHT copper alloy numbers) are produced to size within a plus and minus tolerance per the ASTM standards. For example if you order a 1" dia. brass rod the OD tolerance will be +/-.002". If you are finishing to 1.000" OD or less you will need to order 1.125" OD. For rolled plate 1/2" thickness tolerance would be +/-.028". If you are finishing to 0.500" or less you would need to order the next standard thickness up which for example may be 5/8" thick.
Continuous Cast Copper Alloys (800 & 900 series of CAST copper alloy numbers) are produced to "Nominal" sizes. This means finishing allowance remains to finish to the published size. For example if you order a CAST aluminum bronze bar to 3" solid dia. the actual cast size will be 3" (+.063") and will finish to 3.000" diameter or less. If you would like a clean up and tolerance sheet for size ranges please let us know.
Centrifugal Castings are semi-finished with .125" finishing allowance remaining on all surfaces to finish to your requested size. With all alloys it is best that we know your actual exact finished dimensions. This way we can insure that you will receive the proper amount of clean up allowance on your material per the ASTM standards.
Finished Machine Parts are produced to the tolerances on your drawings.
What is your Quality Guarantee?
We guarantee that all product is free from material defects such as micro-porosity, shinkage cavities, cracks and inclusions or we will replace the product.
It is important to note that we do not cover any lost machine time. In the rare event you notice a problem with any material you should stop machining and let us know about the problem.
What is your Return Policy?
Standard FULL length bars from stock can be returned with a restocking fee. Customer pays the freight back.
For Cut to Length pieces (cut from long bar) there are no returns. These items are cut to a specifc length requirement and cannot be resold to another customer. We would offer "Scrap" value only. Customer pays the freight back.
For Custom Made to Order alloys and sizes there are no returns. These items are produced specifically to custom requirements and cannot be resold to another customer. We would offer "Scrap" value only. Customer pays the freight back.
Standard "Off the Shelf" Bearings can be returned with a restocking fee. Customer pays the freight back.
For Custom Finished Machine Parts there are no returns. These parts were produced specifically to custom drawings and cannot be resold to another customer. We would offer "Scrap" value only for the parts. Customer pays the freight back.
What are Payment Terms?
We accept all major credit Credit/Debit Cards
We offer open credit terms (Net 30 days) to Qualified Companies

What are your Freight Terms?
We quote our products ex-works meaning you pay the freight from the shipping location quoted. For smaller orders under 150 lbs. we typically ship via UPS. We can ship on your UPS account number or in some cases prepay & add UPS charges to the invoice.
For larger shipments over 150 lbs. we can ship freight collect with your specified carrier. We can Prepay & Add the freight to your invoice on larger orders as well. The material we ship is class 50 and class 60 freight. As such we typically receive a 80% discount from most common carriers. We can pass this freight savings along to you.
